2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files saved on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They help the site recognise you or your preferences on your next visit, keep it secure and working properly, and measure how it is used.

In this policy, the term “cookie” also covers the following technologies used for the same purposes:

• Local storage: An area in the browser that stores data, similar to a cookie.
• Embedded content: Content from another service placed on our page (e.g. a YouTube video). When embedded content loads, that service may place its own cookies.
• Scripts and measurement tags: Small pieces of code that run to measure how a page is used.

Types of cookies

• By duration: Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
• By source: First-party cookies are placed directly by pdricma.com.tr. Third-party cookies are placed by other companies that provide content or services on our website (e.g. Google).

3. Which cookies do we use, for what purpose and on what legal basis?

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the website to work, to keep it secure, to submit forms and to remember your cookie choice. The site cannot work properly without them, so they cannot be switched off. They are used without your explicit consent, on the basis of Articles 5/2-c (directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract) and 5/2-f (our legitimate interest, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms) of the KVKK.

Statistics cookies

They help us improve the website by measuring how often its pages are visited, where visitors come from and at which steps they leave. We use Google Analytics 4 for this. These cookies are placed only with your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1) and only after you allow them.

Marketing and embedded content cookies

Some of our pages contain YouTube videos. When a YouTube video loads, YouTube (Google) places cookies to remember your viewing preferences, keep video statistics and for its own advertising services. For this reason, videos do not load until you give your explicit consent to this category; a preview and a consent button are shown in their place. We do not use tracking pixels or remarketing cookies for our own advertising.

4. List of cookies used on our website

The list below shows the cookies found in a scan of our website on 7 October 2026. Third-party providers may change their cookies from time to time; we update this list regularly.

* Google Analytics cookies last 2 years; some browsers (e.g. Chrome) limit cookie lifetime to a maximum of 400 days.

5. What happens before you give consent?

• On your first visit only strictly necessary cookies are used. Google Analytics and the YouTube player are not loaded.
• Video thumbnails on our YouTube Channel page are loaded from YouTube’s image server (img.youtube.com). These images do not place cookies, but your IP address is sent to Google to load them.
• The fonts used on the website are loaded from our own server, not from Google’s servers.
• Cloudflare, our content delivery and security provider, technically processes your IP address and browser information to speed up and protect your access to the site. Cloudflare’s site performance tool (Web Analytics) does not use cookies and does not track you across websites.
• The “Necessary only” option does not stop you from accessing any content on the site. Only YouTube videos are shown as a preview until you allow them.

6. Third parties and international transfers

If you give consent, the following providers process the data obtained through cookies (IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, online identifiers) on their own servers:

• Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics and YouTube. Data may be processed in Google’s data centres abroad, including in the USA. Details: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — Content delivery and security (necessary). Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses; Google Analytics 4 anonymises IP addresses before recording them. We do not use Google Analytics data for ad targeting or remarketing.

Transfers abroad made through statistics and marketing cookies are occasional in nature under Article 9 of the KVKK and are based on your explicit consent . Please be aware that the countries where data is transferred may not offer a level of protection equivalent to Türkiye’s, that public authorities there may access this data, and that exercising your rights there may be more difficult. These risks are explained so that you can consider them when deciding whether to give consent.

The WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube channel links on our website are plain links; these platforms do not place cookies on our site unless you click them. When you click a link, that platform’s own privacy and cookie policies apply.

7. How can you manage your preferences?

In your browser settings: In your browser settings you can delete or block cookies, or get a warning when a new cookie is placed. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site (e.g. forms and remembering your cookie choice) may not work.

To turn off Google Analytics on all websites, you can use Google’s Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Retention periods

How long cookies stay on your device is shown in the table above. Your cookie choice is kept for 365 days; your consent is asked again at the end of this period or when this policy changes significantly. Event data collected in Google Analytics is deleted automatically by Google when the retention period set in our account (maximum 14 months) ends.

9. Your rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it has been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in the KVKK and to have these actions notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred; to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

You can submit these requests, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller and together with information that identifies you, in writing to our address above, [email protected] to our KEP (registered electronic mail) address, or from the email address registered in our records to [email protected] . Your request will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature. If your request is rejected, you find the answer insufficient or no answer is given in time, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies used on our website or the relevant legislation change. The current version is always published on this page; the date at the top shows the last update. If there is a significant change in the cookies we use, your consent will be asked again.
